2001 Roster File Information

1) First of all, you must have either Winzip or another zip program that will allow you to unzip files. This is essential.

2) Once you receive this e-mail, download the attached file into a directory (folder) that you know you can find later. Many of you will choose to create a new directory. That is probably a good idea but not essential.

3) Once the file has completed its download, close your Internet browser.

4) Open Winzip by either double clicking on a Winzip icon, if you set one up, or by clicking Start, then Programs, then Winzip, then Winzip x.x for the version you are using. Winzip should now be open.

5) Now that you are in Winzip, click on the large Open icon on the top. A box indicating drives and directories will appear.

6) Locate the directory (folder) where you save the rosters zip file that you downloaded.

7) Once you find it, double click on the folder to make it active. Then find the rosters zip file and double click on that too. This will bring you back into the Winzip program and will have opened the file. You should now see 82 files on your screen (the amount is displayed in the bottom right corner of the screen).

8) Next, click on the drop down menu labeled Actions at the top of the screen. Then choose Select All. This will highlight all your files.

9) With the files still highlighted, click on the large Extract icon at the top. A new box will appear. Then, double click on C for your hard drive (assuming this is where your game is), then double click on cdrombb (the Strat game directory), and finally double click on rosters.

10) Lastly, click on Extract. You will be asked if you want to replace the prior files. Answer yes to all. This will move the entire league to your game. So, when you open your game, you should see the 2000 Real Fans Baseball league already there. If you don't then you did something wrong. You can redo the steps or just ask me for help.

Once again, please be sure all the settings are correct for the league. The correct settings can be found on the web site. They should all be fine, but please double check.
