Ken Griffey Jr. ripped 2 homeruns as the Houston Astros topped the Arizona
Diamondbacks by a score of 10 to 6 at Bank One Ballpark.

Griffey Jr. propelled Houston to victory.  He launched a Grand Slam homerun in
the 1st inning and belted a three-run homer (his 5th of the season) in the
5th inning.  Houston won despite being out-hit by Arizona 17 hits to 12.

The win went to Brian Anderson(1-0) who allowed 5 runs in 6 and 2/3 innings.
Anderson was helped out by Mike Timlin who recorded his 1st save.  Robert
Person(0-1) was given the loss.  He served up 3 gopher balls in 5 innings.
